Information We Collect
When you send an enquiry, request a bill of materials or register as an installer, we receive the details you type in: name, company, email, phone, country and your message. Visiting the site also generates routine technical logs — IP address, user agent and pages viewed — used for security and performance monitoring.
Cookies & Tracking
huawei-solar.org sets only the cookies it needs: essential cookies that keep the site working and a language preference so you stay in English, Arabic or French. Analytics runs on anonymised identifiers. Your browser settings let you clear or block cookies at any time.
Third-Party Services
Two analytics tools run on this site — Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics — and both see anonymised usage signals only, never the content of your enquiries. Your contact details leave us in exactly two situations: when an order ships, the courier receives only the address fields needed to deliver it; and when a system is commissioned, warranty-registration data goes to Huawei Digital Power so your FusionSolar coverage is on record. Nothing is ever sold, and no advertising network receives anything from us.
Data Protection
Traffic to and from the site is TLS-encrypted, access to enquiry data is restricted to the sales and engineering desk, and nothing is stored longer than its purpose requires. No payment-card data ever touches our systems — orders are settled in cash at the doorstep.
Your Rights
The data stays yours. At any time you can request a copy of everything we hold, have inaccuracies fixed, have records erased, narrow what we may do with them, take them away in a machine-readable export, or switch off marketing contact for good. And if our answer leaves you unsatisfied, the data-protection authority where you live is the next stop.
Data Retention
Quotation and order records are kept for 7 years to satisfy tax and warranty-traceability obligations. Contact-form messages are kept for 24 months. Anonymised analytics ages out after 26 months. Unsubscribe requests take effect immediately.
GDPR Compliance (European Customers)
Buying from one of our five EU markets — Germany, France, Italy, Spain or the Netherlands? The GDPR applies in full: you can see, correct or erase what we hold, restrict or object to its processing, and take it with you. Put "GDPR request" in the subject line to sales@huawei-solar.org and the statutory one-calendar-month response clock starts running.
UAE Data Protection (PDPL Compliance)
Operating from Dubai puts us under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law 45/2021 (PDPL). In practice: every field we collect ties to a stated purpose, you are informed before data is gathered, and when FusionSolar warranty registration moves data to Huawei Digital Power outside the UAE, that transfer travels under PDPL-compliant safeguards.
Cookie Policy
Three cookie classes only: essential (site function), analytics (Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, anonymised) and preference (your language choice). We run no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers.
Privacy Contact
Our sales and engineering desk doubles as the privacy desk — reach it at sales@huawei-solar.org or over WhatsApp via the contact page. Routine privacy questions get an answer inside 30 days; anything raised under the GDPR runs on its statutory one-calendar-month clock.
