Information We Collect

When you send an enquiry or request a bill of materials, we receive the details you type in: name, company, email, phone, country and your message. Visiting the site also generates routine technical logs — IP address, user agent and pages viewed — used for security and performance monitoring.

Cookies & Tracking

huawei-solar.org sets only the cookies it needs: essential ones that keep the site working, a language preference so you stay in English, Arabic or French, and analytics. Clear or block them from your browser at any time. What analytics means here is worth spelling out, because it goes further than a page count and we would rather you read it from us than discover it. Each visit is recorded as behaviour: time on the page and how much of it was active time, scroll depth and reading pace, the delay before your first tap, which elements the pointer rests on and for how long, every click with the spot on the screen it landed on — those positions are aggregated into heatmaps — plus clicks that repeat or do nothing, pinch-zooms, text selected outside form fields, print and right-click, and the time spent away on another tab. Search terms typed into our search box and filters you apply are kept, because they are the plainest statement of what you came for. Forms are recorded field by field: which one you opened, how long you spent there, whether you left it blank. The contents are not read, and password and payment fields are skipped altogether. The identifier behind all of this is a first-party cookie that is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: it marks the browser for up to two years, never names the person, and exists so that a second visit is not mistaken for a first and the channel that originally sent you is not credited to nobody. Location comes from the IP address at city resolution; the satellite position of your device is never requested. Technical readings ride along too — load performance, JavaScript errors, images that failed, graphics chip model and processor core count — to catch pages that fall apart on the phones really in use in your market. The system builder, the comparison tool, the cart and datasheet downloads record the choices made, the quantities entered and the step where you stopped. Browser language and time zone produce a guess at which kind of buyer you are, used for grouped reporting and never to alter a price or a condition shown to you. The time zone is read once more, for something other than reporting: it decides whether the law where you sit obliges us to ask before measuring at all. In most of the countries this site serves it does not, so no banner is put in front of you and the recording described above begins with the first page. And when a call or email link is pressed, or a form goes in, what you wrote plus that visit context — page, engagement, device, approximate city — reaches our sales desk immediately. Set against that, the classes actually placed are three: essential for site function, analytics — the two tools named above — and preference for your language. No advertising cookie and no cross-site tracker runs on huawei-solar.org today, yet a fourth category, advertising, appears on the cookie banner all the same, asked now so that the day one is needed we are not re-consenting a whole audience after the fact. Where consent has to come before measurement the banner asks and nothing is recorded until you answer; the essential class runs either way, which is why it is not offered as a choice. The answer keeps for 180 days in a cookie named _dcc, clearing this site's data puts the question back in front of you, and the answer is filed with us as well — when it was given, on which brand and market, in which language, how it was answered, and against the pseudonymous visitor identifier — for 790 days, so that what was chosen and when can be shown rather than asserted.

Third-Party Services

Two analytics tools run on this site — Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics — and both see usage signals that are pseudonymous rather than anonymised — keyed to the same browser identifier described above, never to your name and never to the content of your enquiries. Your contact details leave us in exactly one situation: when a system is commissioned, warranty-registration data goes to Huawei Digital Power so your FusionSolar coverage is on record. Nothing is ever sold, and no advertising network receives anything from us. Our sales portal at xyz.solarinstaller.ae — the same company's order and customer system — receives your order, the phone number you verify, your email and the actions you take on this site (pages viewed, searches, cart and contact requests), so our sales team can process your order and follow it up on WhatsApp. It does not receive your IP address.

Data Protection

Traffic to and from the site is TLS-encrypted, access to enquiry data is restricted to the sales desk, and nothing is stored longer than its purpose requires. No payment-card data ever touches our systems — orders are settled at the store counter on collection.

Your Rights

The data stays yours. At any time you can request a copy of everything we hold, have inaccuracies fixed, have records erased, narrow what we may do with them, take them away in a machine-readable export, or switch off marketing contact for good. And if our answer leaves you unsatisfied, the data-protection authority where you live is the next stop.

Data Retention

Order records are kept for 7 years to satisfy tax and warranty-traceability obligations. Contact-form messages are kept for 24 months. Analytics and behaviour records age out after 26 months and are then deleted; for as long as they are held they are pseudonymous rather than anonymised. Unsubscribe requests take effect immediately.

UAE Data Protection (PDPL Compliance)

Operating from Dubai puts us under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law 45/2021 (PDPL). In practice: every field we collect ties to a stated purpose, you are informed before data is gathered, and when FusionSolar warranty registration moves data to Huawei Digital Power outside the UAE, that transfer travels under PDPL-compliant safeguards.
